Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions govern your use of publishlegalnotice.com and the legal notice placement, translation and related services we provide. The Site and Services are operated by Legal Notices Publisher LLC, doing business as Publish Legal Notice, with offices at 740 84th St, Miami Beach, FL 33141. By requesting a quote, submitting a notice or using the Site, you agree to these Terms.

1. What we do and what we don't do

We are an advertising agency. We place legal and public notices in newspapers and other publications on your behalf, translate notices when requested, and deliver proof of publication issued by the publisher. We are not a law firm and we do not give legal advice. Information on the Site and in our communications, including which newspapers qualify, how many times a notice must run or what wording it needs, is general guidance based on publicly available rules. Using our Services does not create an attorney-client relationship. You, or your attorney, are responsible for confirming that the notice, the publication and the schedule meet the legal requirements that apply to your case.

2. Quotes

  • Quotes are based on the text, the publication and the run dates you give us. Changes to any of them may change the price.
  • Unless the quote says otherwise, it is valid for [7] calendar days.
  • Final pricing is set by each publisher. If a publisher changes its rates or the measured length of your notice before it runs, we will tell you before proceeding.

3. Your responsibilities

  • You confirm that the notice text, names, dates, case numbers and other details you provide are accurate and complete.
  • You confirm that you have the right to publish the notice and any personal information it contains.
  • You review and approve the proof or final text before publication. Once you approve it, errors in the approved text are your responsibility.
  • You meet any filing deadlines with courts or agencies, including filing the affidavit of publication.

4. Payment

Unless we agree otherwise in writing, payment in full is required before we book a publication. Prices are in U.S. dollars and do not include taxes, if any apply. Invoices for law firms, agencies and public bodies are available on request.

5. Publication, deadlines and proof

  • Each publisher sets its own deadlines, formats and acceptance policies. A publisher may reject or edit a notice under its own rules.
  • We book the run dates confirmed in your quote, but we do not control the publisher’s production and cannot guarantee a specific page or position.
  • After the final run, we deliver the proof of publication that the publisher issues, such as tear sheets or an affidavit of publication. Delivery times depend on the publisher.

6. Errors by the publisher

If a notice runs with an error that differs from the text you approved, or does not run on a booked date, we will request a correction or a rerun from the publisher at no additional cost to you. This is your sole remedy for publisher errors.

7. Cancellations and refunds

  • You can cancel at no cost before we submit the notice to the publisher.
  • After submission, cancellation depends on the publisher’s policy. Any amount the publisher does not refund to us is not refundable.
  • Once a notice has been published, it cannot be canceled or refunded.

8. Published notices are public

Legal notices are public by design. Once published, a notice may be reproduced by the publisher in print, on its website and on public notice websites or archives that we do not control. We cannot remove a notice from those sources after publication.

9. Translation services

Translations are prepared for publication purposes. If a court or agency requires a certified or sworn translation, tell us before we quote so we can confirm whether it can be provided for your jurisdiction.

10. Content we will not publish

We may refuse any notice that we believe is false, misleading, defamatory, discriminatory, infringing or unlawful, or that is not a genuine legal or public notice.

11. Use of the Site

You may use the Site only for lawful purposes. You may not interfere with the Site, attempt unauthorized access or upload malicious files. All content on the Site, including text, design and logos, belongs to us or our licensors. Newspaper names mentioned on the Site are trademarks of their owners and are used only to describe where we place notices; their mention does not imply endorsement.

12. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, including lost profits or claims arising from a court or agency rejecting a publication. Our total liability for any claim related to the Services is limited to the amount you paid us for the Service that gave rise to the claim.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims arising from the content you ask us to publish, the information you provide or your breach of these Terms.

14. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of FLORIDA, without regard to its conflict of laws rules. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in 740 84TH ST, Miami Beach, FL 33141, and you consent to their jurisdiction.

15. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. Changes do not affect orders already confirmed.
